Call for tutorial proposals

Scope

The PPSN 2014 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014. The tutorial topic should enjoy broad interest within the community. It can be an established or emerging research topic within the field itself, but also from a related research field or about an interesting application area. The proposed topic should be broad enough to provide a gentle introduction to the research area, but it should also cover the most important contributions in depth. The planned duration of the tutorials is two hours.

Submission details

Prospective tutorial organizers are invited to submit a plain text tutorial proposal by email to: ppsn2014@ijs.si The proposal should include:

1. title of the tutorial
2. brief abstract
3. a tutorial description in syllabus form
4. lecturers' names, addresses, emails, and short CVs
5. potential target participants and audience
